that blog you've been working on

you may or may not be aware that my parents are quite possibly the most pertinacious of all parents when it comes to hounding their child about updating their blog.

it would be impossible to truly write out exactly what it is like having such tenacious parents who will not take "i'll do it later" for an answer without more badgering. so i will have to show you what it's like via a youtube video.

this weekend i went out and took some shots of my family. my uncle really wanted some pictures of him and his cool new bike, so we borrowed our neighbors driveway a bit for some shots (:

despite the ever looming threat of becoming contaminated by the disgustingly green water and growing a mutated third arm, i still had a really fun time. it was great seeing everyone and the brides and grooms were fantastic models! c:

carla and todd

last week dave and i met up with the amazingly fun carla and todd to shoot their engagement photos. we had a blast! carla and todd had me smiling the whole shoot, between their hilarious jokes and sweet romantic moments when they forgot the camera and focused solely on each other, it was hard not to :]

jenn and joe's wedding august 18th

last saturday me, dave, and rowena from http://rowenacurtis.com/ got to shoot joe and jenn's wedding at a little church in encinitas. it was an awesome day, it was warm, the sun was shining and everyone had a smile on their face :] here's a few of my shots from the day.

ro had a great idea for the shoe shot, and put them on the piano in the dressing room. she has a great knack for shooting details
jenn and her dad before the ceremony. he was the sweetest man you could ever meet, he had me torn between laughing and crying during his speech at the reception.

i'm still trying to think of what magazine jenn walked out of, she was an awsome model :]
joe on top of some old air condtioners on the side of the church. he can make any setting look good.

jenn and joe you guys are awesome, your wedding was too fun! everyone was insanely nice and funny, i was in stiches during the toasts at your reception. i can't wait to see you guys again at your trash the dress session.
